Our Story

The Vesper Kitchen and Bar opened in September 2016 by owner Joe Frocchi to bridge the gap between casual and fine dining. For almost a decade, we have provided a cozy corner of the world for colleagues, neighbors, friends, and family to gather.

Tucked away in the Washington Square Community in the historic 1 Capron building, The Vesper is steps away from Geva Theatre, Roc City Skatepark, Genesee Riverway Trail, the new Promenade at Erie Harbor, and Blue Cross Arena.

We’re a proud supporter of the Washington Square Community Association, an active community group that helps keep our neighborhood tidy, safe, and at the forefront of the decision-makers at City Hall.
